I also research ways that we can reduce our dependence on petroleum without changing our habits or behavior.

Weaning ourselves from petroleum is an important part of long-term Energy Independence. Some of the methods of reducing petroleum usage that you will find in this blog are biofuels, solar thermal, solar PV, concentrating solar, wind, hydro, micro-hydro, and energy efficiency.
